The Department of Social Services, Division of Behavioral Health is excited to host the Second Annual "Your Journey Matters" a statewide conference highlighting critical behavioral health efforts in South Dakota on August 11th from 10:00am - 4:30pm and August 12th from 8:00am – 12:00pm CT. Registration is open through July 27th at 11:59pm or until we reach capacity.

A block of rooms has been reserved under the “South Dakota Behavioral Health Conference” at the Sheraton Sioux Falls & Convention Center at a rate of $110/night plus applicable taxes. or call the hotel at 605-331-0100. Rooms are available until July 20th, 2026, or until the block is full. Block rates are available for Monday, August 10th - Thursday, August 13th, 2026.

Conference Overview

At the “Your Journey Matters” conference, you’ll learn about and discuss topics across the clinical, general population, at-risk populations, youth, and medical perspectives in South Dakota when it comes to behavioral health. Over two days, we’ll feature key speakers in the areas of mental health, substance use, and lived experience. CEUs will be available.
