Through a dynamic blend of music, dance, and storytelling, "Freedom" pays tribute to the struggles, triumphs, and sacrifices of those who valiantly fought for justice and equality. This powerful narrative compels audiences to reconsider the celebration of Juneteenth, urging us to genuinely reflect on the journey filled with pain, strength, and unwavering determination of the men and women who forged the path to freedom.Their voices resonate throughout history, reminding us that the liberation struggle is far from complete. With a vibrant score infused with gospel, blues, and spoken word,"Freedom: A Juneteenth Story" is both a powerful celebration and a poignant call to reflection. It inspires audiences to honor the legacies of the past while committing to the vital work of achieving justice and equity for future generations. Release of Liability and Hold Harmless AgreementActing for the Camera | Hosted by Empower You EdutainmentI acknowledge and fully understand that the Empower You Edutainment, (EYE) its partners, affiliates, sponsors, volunteers, officers, agents, and employees (collectively referred to as “EYE and Affiliates”) do not provide medical payments or coverage in the event of injury, illness, or any medical emergency that may occur before, during, or after my participation in the Acting for the Camera event (hereafter referred to as “Event”).I further understand that the EYE and Affiliates do not provide any insurance coverage for uninsured or underinsured motorists, nor assume responsibility for actions, negligence, or omissions by third parties. Should I be injured as a result of the act or omission of any person or party other than the EYE and Affiliates, I understand that I will not be entitled to recover damages from the EYE and Affiliates.I am aware that participating in the Event—including any related travel to and from the Event—carries potential risks, including but not limited to, personal injury, illness (including exposure to communicable diseases), death, and property loss or damage. I hereby voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation.If I am signing on behalf of a minor participant, I acknowledge and affirm that I am the parent or legal guardian, and I give my full consent for their participation, understanding and accepting the risks on their behalf.In consideration for being permitted to participate in this Event, I hereby voluntarily release, discharge, and hold harmless the EYE and Affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me (or my child), or to any property belonging to me (or my child), whether caused by the active or passive negligence of the EYE and Affiliates, or otherwise, while participating in the Event.Furthermore, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the EYE and Affiliates from any claims, including claims for Workers' Compensation benefits, actions, liabilities, costs or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation (or that of my child) in the Event, whether such claims are made by me, my family, my estate, third parties, or any other individual or entity.I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS.
