Author Talk: Chad Snelling & Jeff Wince of Tilton Hollow Farm
A special evening and reading with authors (and goat farmers) Chad Snelling and Jeff Wince at the Granville Center for the Arts
Join us Thursday, July 9, at 6:30 PM for a special evening with authors (and goat farmers) Chad Snelling and Jeff Wince at the Granville Center for the Arts as they discuss and read from their debut memoir, "There's a magic in the hollow…and some goat poop. Our life (so far) on Tilton Hollow Farm." Through conversation, storytelling, readings from the book, and an audience Q&A, Chad and Jeff will share the wildly funny, heartfelt, and deeply human journey of leaving city life behind to build Tilton Hollow — a farm, soap company, and online community centered around authenticity, humor, compassion, and a whole lot of goats.
Over the past fifteen years, the duo has captured the hearts of thousands with stories filled with chaos, resilience, heartbreak, laughter, unforgettable animal personalities, and the beauty of starting over. Their memoir is an honest, hilarious, and deeply heartfelt reflection on taking a leap of faith in midlife, building something meaningful from scratch, and learning to embrace a "Goats First” philosophy: no one goes to auction, moms and babies are never separated, and an animal's worth is never measured by milk or revenue. At Tilton Hollow, the animals aren't livestock — they're family.
Books will be available for purchase and autographs courtesy of Readers' Garden Bookstore.
This event is free and open to all.
