Childbirth is an exciting and sometimes challenging journey. Our community childbirth education program is here to provide you with an understanding of the childbirth process.

Our educators will provide an overview of:

• The labor and birth process

• Relaxation and breathing techniques

• Coaching skills and the role of the partner

• Anesthesia/analgesic options

• Vaginal and cesarean births

• Postpartum expectations

What to expect:

• A live webinar with a nurse educator and live Q&A session.

• Two-part session to cover all subject matter (you must attend both sessions to receive the digital copy of the childbirth education book with registration).

Refund policy

Cancellation refunds are available upon written notice to healthed@northwell.edu within 24 hours prior to the event date. Cancellations are subject to a reduced rate of $10 due to the incurred cost for the digital copy of the childbirth education book.
