Dance Again: A George Michael Birthday Celebration
Experience the icon for a one night only pride month celebration while raising money for AIDS research.
George Michael's run as planet earth's greatest singer/songwriter is almost too overwheming to understand. He was a pop music scholar, a generous collaborator, a teen idol with serious songwriting capabilities, a man of great integrity who raised millions for AIDS research. He was outed as gay in the most henious manner imaginable and brushed it off with incredible grace and humor. Upon his death in 2016 it was revealed that all his life he was giving money to charitable causes in secret. He was one of one.
On June 20th we will celebrate his legacy and birthday together. I, Holiday Kirk, will be crafting an innovative, immersive DJ set that twines George Michael's music with his influences and collaborators. George was always as much a fan of pop, R&B, soul music as he was his own and I'm excitied to pay tribute to his career both as a fan and admirer.
We are also taking this opportunity to raise money for AIDS research ourselves. All profits will be donated to in his name.
June 25th would have been George Michael's 63rd birthday. It's only right we throw him a party. Do you still have faith?
