Only heavy rain can stop us!

Time for a new adventure Neverwinterers! This time we are going to hike via beautiful Harriman state park.
We will walk through lakes Sebago, Pine meadow and Wanoksink.
We will enjoy the view from Diamond mountain, Racoon brook hill and old ruins.
Pass through multiple creeks and rivers and have some lunch by a trail.
This is a loop walk!

8:30 AM - Meeting at Starbucks at Port Authority Bus Terminal on 1st floor
9:10 AM - Departure from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Sloatsburg
10:07 AM - Arriving at Sloatsburg
10:15 AM - Meeting rest of the group at the entrance to entrance to Spring Street Deli North

10:25 AM - Start hiking
12:05 PM - Arriving to Lake Sebago
12:30 PM - Lunch at the trail
1:10 PM - Continue hiking
2:10 PM - Arriving Pine meadows
2:30 PM - Visiting ruins
5:10 PM - Returning to Sloatsburg station
5:30 PM - Dinner in town
6:50 PM - Taking train to Hoboken
7:39 PM - Arriving to Hoboken

**** HOW TO GET THERE and BACK ***
Way to: ShortLine Hudson bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Sloatsburg (look for a 9:10 AM bus).
Way back: MNBNP0080 train from Sloatsburg station to Hoboken station (look for 6:50 PM train).

By car: ask a group if someone is driving and can give you a ride.

About 15 miles hike (expect for full day)
Total elevation: 1300ft
Please don't come late as the train will NOT wait for you.
Please keep the above into consideration as this event is not for rookies.
Walkie-talkie: our frequency: 462.6125 or 462.6375 (Channel 3 and 4)
Please bring enough water and food for 6 hours.
We do not recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers.
We suggest getting train tickets in advance at Grand Central station or through the MTA app.
