Step into our mini Victorian parlor studio to have your portrait captured with a spectral projection, inspired by vintage Spirit Photography and the Pepper’s Ghost technique.In your portrait sitting conducted by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/rarebitproductions/" title="https://www.instagram.com/rarebitproductions/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rarebit Productions</a> (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/rcallahanphoto/" title="https://www.instagram.com/rcallahanphoto/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rose Callahan</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/kellfirebray/" title="https://www.instagram.com/kellfirebray/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kellfire Bray</a>), you’ll pose for your very own phantasmic photo featuring Rarebit's own distinct version of the classic <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_photography" title="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_photography" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Spirit Photography</a> genre of the 19th and early 20th century. Their unique camera setup comes equipped with a selection of haunting projections to customize your portrait using the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peppers_ghost" title="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peppers_ghost" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Pepper’s Ghost</a> technique. All ghostly effects are created in camera digitally with no retouching or Photoshop. Afterwards, your selected image will be printed up to 5x7” on archival quality inkjet paper and mounted in a keepsake vintage frame. During this time, you’ll be able to choose your spectre from our catalog of haunts, and sit for a bespoke portrait. Printing and mounting in a cardboard folding frame, typical of what you would get at an early 20th century portrait studio, will be done on-site and ready within one hour of your session.$125 price includes scheduled portrait sitting, and one image printed and mounted in a vintage folding frame. Optional add-ons: additional prints with frames are $60, digital files are $25 each, payable via venmo or cash on the event day.Please be on time - late attendees may forfeit their ticket price and portrait. Better yet, come a little early to give yourself enough time to pick your spectre - it's fun and we will have new ones to choose from!Due to set space constraints, sessions are limited to groups of 3.
