Overview

Join us for a fun-filled overnight weekend at Mai Time Hmong Camp to celebrate getting in touch with your Hmong roots through engaging activities and shared meals, while connecting to nature. The whole campsite will be at our disposal!

Participantions Requirements:

• Identify as a Hmong descendant
• Going into 9th grade in the fall to recent graduate, class of 2026
• Non-binary, expansive youth

Welcome to Mai Time Hmong Camp!

Are you ready for a fun-filled overnight weekend celebrating Hmong culture, traditions, and community?

At Mai Time you'll learn the crafting of traditional Hmong crossbows (you'll even get to use one!). This year we are focusing on exploring various traditional rice cakes and the art of foraging! Each day is filled with delicious Hmong cuisine and ends off with campfire storytelling sessions. Each participant walks away with a LookBook full of poems, pictures and memories for years to come.

(Hmong clothes will be provided by request for professional photoshoot)

We are also looking for a couple of intern camp counselors (past camp attendee or new attendee ) to lead youth groups at camp and activities. There will be a couple of days of virtual trainings. Referefence letter is provided.

Event Details:

• Date: Friday, June 19th - Sunday, June 21st
• Location: Will be shared after registration
• Time: Camp starts at 9 am on June 19th and ends at 1 pm on June 21st
• Pick up and drop off will be at our two offices, Brooklyn Center & St Paul to our final distination. Exact location will be sent after registration is processed
