Regional Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International for a candid and inspiring virtual conversation that brings together a dynamic group of women shaping the food world while navigating motherhood. From restaurant kitchens to entrepreneurial ventures, these leaders will share the realities, challenges, and unexpected joys of balancing both worlds.Moderated by Avery Meetre of LRA PR, you’ll hear from the following DC Dames:<ul><li>Kerry Brodie, Founder and Executive Director of Emma’s Torch</li><li>Britney Brown-Chamberlain, Recipe Developer and Cookbook Author of Britney Breaks Bread</li><li>Leah Culley, Founder &amp; CEO of Sweet Almond</li><li>Johanna Hellrigl, Chef/Owner of Ama</li></ul>This session is designed for anyone—parents, prospective parents, or those supporting caregivers on their team—who wants an honest look at how the industry can evolve to better support working mothers.Whether you are deep in the industry or simply curious about these experiences, we hope you will join us for this thoughtful and timely conversation.We’ll talk about:<ul><li>The realities of balancing motherhood with demanding hospitality careers</li><li>Building businesses and teams with flexibility and support in mind</li><li>Personal stories of resilience, adaptation, and redefining success</li><li>How the industry can better support parents and caregivers</li></ul>Open to Les Dames members and the public.
