Come learn how to grow your very own shiitake mushroom log with Tiny Acres Farm!

The Carriage House

<p>After an introduction to mushroom cultivation, covering ideal substrates, growing conditions, and best practices for care, participants will then drill holes in hardwood logs, fill them with spawn, and cover the holes with beeswax. All materials are provided,  including the hardwood logs. At the end of the workshop, you will get to take your inoculated logs home to enjoy for years to come!</p><p>Erin and David at Tiny Acres Farm produce regenerative certified organic veggies, herbs, and mushrooms in Montville, ME. They are a couple of humans who are passionate about sustainability, local food systems, and agricultural education. By melding over a decade of food and beverage experience with their sustainable farming practices, Erin and David are able to produce high quality food with a low impact on the environment.</p>
