Dear North American mammals, we are going to repeat our Hudson Valley hike!
This time we will take a walk through the beautiful Tarrytown Lakes Park and Rockefeller State Park.
As always, we will pass through lakes, old churches, rivers and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson River.
We will stop for lunch at Pocantico Hills and come back home from Scarborough.
If we have enough time we will have dinner together.
This is not a loop hike!

When?

8:00 AM (Sunday)

Where?
1st meeting point 08:00 AM center of Grand Central Terminal (look for a round information kiosk).

2d meeting point 09:25 AM entrance to RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen (127 W Main St, Tarrytown, NY)


Detailed plan:
08:00 AM - Meeting at center of Grand Central Terminal (look for a round information kiosk)
08:25 AM - Departure from Grand Central to Tarrytown train station
09:18 AM - Arriving at Tarrytown
09:25 AM - Meeting rest of the group at the entrance to RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen

10:05 AM - Arriving to Red trail and start hiking
01:00 PM - Lunch at Pocantico Hills
01:20 PM - Continue hiking
03:45 PM - Reaching Old Style Horseman Bridge
04:40 PM - Reaching Archville
05:30 PM - Reaching Scarborough station
05:40 PM - Departure from Scarborough station to Grand Central station
06:44 PM - Arriving at Grand Central station

**** HOW TO GET THERE and BACK ***
Metro-North train:
Way to: Grand Central to Tarrytown train station (look for a 8:25 AM train).
Way back: Scarborough train station to Grand Central (look for 5:40 PM train).

By car: ask a group if someone is driving and can give you a ride.

*** USEFUL INFO ***
About 12 miles hike (expect for full day)
Total elevation: 1100ft (please keep this into consideration as this hike is NOT for rookies)
Please don't come late as the train will NOT wait for you
Walkie-talkie: our frequency: 462.6125 or 462.6375 (Channel 3 and 4)
Please bring enough water and food for whole day
We do not recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers
We suggest getting train tickets in advance at Grand Central station or through the MTA app
