About the Book

The Hunt for the Holiday Spirit is a joyful, heartwarming children’s book based on my inclusive holiday musical series of the same name. It follows four siblings on a magical Christmas Eve adventure to rediscover what the Holiday Spirit really means — kindness, love, and the courage to be yourself.

The story grew out of a stage production starring a full cast of performers with disabilities. Now, we’re bringing that same spirit to the page so families and classrooms can experience it together, year after year.

This purchase helps fund our groundbreaking inclusive The Hunt for the Holiday Spirit i animated series.

Who I Am

Hi, I’m Jefferson Jay — a San Diego musician, educator, and creator of The Hunt for the Holiday Spirit.

I’ve spent years using music, storytelling, and community events to help people feel seen, valued, and included. From open mics and music residencies to The San Diego Music Hall of Fame and Everybody One, my work is all about love, belonging, and giving people a chance to shine.

This book is the next step in that journey.

• Local Pickup (San Diego): I’ll arrange one or more pickup opportunities in Ocean Beach / central San Diego and email you details.
• U.S. Shipping: Shipping charges will be handled separately after purchase (via Venmo/PayPal) unless you select a shipping add-on at checkout. Most books will ship via USPS Media Mail (typically $4–$6 within the U.S.)
• International Shipping: I’m happy to ship internationally; we’ll calculate actual postage and handle it via email + Venmo/PayPal.
