Chicago for Chicagoans is excited to invite you back to explore Wicker Park with this recently refreshed 2-hour tour! Neighborhood enthusiast Charlie Ocasek will regale you with history while offering his unique insight on one of the country's "hippest hipster neighborhoods."
Beginning at the Damen Blue Line stop, the tour will go beyond the neighborhood's trendy first impression to cover its rich history, diversity, architecture, and landmarks. Discover the beautiful housing of "Beer Baron's Row" and the "Polish Gold Coast," explore the fascinating commercial legacy of Milwaukee Avenue, and learn how the area has changed dramatically since its humble beginnings in 1871. The afternoon will end with a visit to for some tasty pizza. Come discover your place in space!
