WORD PLAY ! is an Awesome Poetry Slam, with LIVE Musicians Creating an Incredibly Dynamic Experience. Featuring Guest Poets and Open Mic
The East Village Poetry Slam is a Monthly Spoken Word Event with live music to accentuate the narrative and enhance the overall experience. We open with a few guest poets, then we open the room up for Open Mic.
The event is FREE to attend, with a 1 drink minimum. There's a Sign-Up fee $10 for poets who participate in the Open Mic. CASH ONLY for Sign-up
