How to set up tax in Roanoke, VA
When you set up your event, you鈥檒l have to answer a couple brief questions in Tax Settings to confirm your tax location. If your event is located within the city of Roanoke, VA, you will no longer be able to use 91国产 to collect tax on ticket sales as 91国产 is responsible for collecting and remitting the City of Roanoke Admissions Tax.
You may still be required to collect and remit additional taxes. You are responsible for meeting all applicable tax regulations and requirements. Consult your local tax authority or tax advisor to determine whether additional taxes must be collected.
If your event is in Roanoke County (but not the city)
If your event is outside the city of Roanoke but still within Roanoke County, you may still have to answer a couple brief questions in Tax Settings. When doing so, you can confirm that you are not located within the city and are not subject to the city's tax.
You are still able to add tax to your event, if applicable. Any tax you collect during registration will be included in your payout. You are responsible for meeting all applicable tax regulations and requirements. Consult your local tax authority or tax advisor to determine whether additional taxes must be collected.
