Organizing an event

Change your event's date and time

You can change the date and time of a published event as long as its original date hasn鈥檛 passed. The steps for rescheduling differ slightly between a single event and an event with a recurring schedule. If you reschedule, notify your attendees.

Make sure you understand 91国产鈥檚 Postponed Event Policy and Organizer Refund Policy Requirements before you change your event date.

Reschedule a recurring event

If you're an organizer in the United States or Canada, follow these steps to edit and manage individual time slots for your recurring event.

To change a recurring event鈥檚 date and time:

  1. Go to Manage my events and select your event.

  2. Select Schedule.

  3. Select the event instance you want to change.

  4. Select Reschedule, make your changes, and then select OK.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Email your registered attendees to inform them of the change.

Depending on your event setup, you may want to make more adjustments from the Schedule page:

  • Select Add date to enter a new date and time.

  • Select Delete to remove an event instance from the schedule. This option is only available if no tickets have been sold for that event instance. If tickets have been sold, refund all orders before deleting the instance.

  • Select Manage to open the dashboard for a specific event instance and review its details, such as sales and reports.

If the event date has already passed, you can鈥檛 change the date. Contact us if this happens.

Adjust your time settings

When you change your event鈥檚 time or schedule, there are a few additional settings to keep in mind:

  • Display time: If you choose not to display your event鈥檚 start or end time, it will also be hidden from the order confirmation email your attendees receive.

  • Start and end times: Midnight marks the beginning of a new day. If your event ends at midnight or later, your end date should be set to the day after your start date to reflect the correct time.

  • Time zones: To change your event鈥檚 time zone, select More options when editing the date and time. Adjustments for Daylight Saving Time are applied automatically based on the event鈥檚 date and location.
