Tickets to fly in the Winthrop Balloon Roundup Festival go quickly! I would suggest booking your ticket ASAP. Sat and Sunday flights are booked out entirely within a month of the Winthrop Balloon Festival.

What happens if the weather is bad during the Winthrop Balloon Festival?

Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent. If the weather isn't good, such as raining, snowing, or fast wind, they will be canceled. Guests who have tickets to fly will get a credit to fly at another balloon festival or can join us in Seattle or Walla Walla for our main ballooning season.
